Sustainability Statement

How we aim to operate responsibly and create lasting value

We believe sustainability is not only about environmental impact. It is also about building fairer systems, supporting responsible growth, and making essential services more accessible.

For Lawyerlink, sustainability means operating responsibly, using technology thoughtfully, supporting inclusive and ethical workplaces, and helping businesses access practical legal support in a clearer and more affordable way.

If you would like more information about our sustainability approach, or if you have suggestions on how we can improve it, please contact us at support@lawyerlink.co.

This section explains what sustainability means in the context of our business.

We are committed to running Lawyerlink responsibly and to focusing on the areas where we can make the most meaningful contribution.

As a legal services business, our greatest impact is not through large-scale environmental programmes. It is through the way we deliver our services, support our people, use technology, and help businesses operate more fairly, transparently, and confidently.

We therefore view sustainability in a broad and practical way. That includes access to justice, responsible business practices, inclusion, innovation, and maintaining a lighter environmental footprint through the way we work.

This section explains the main sustainability areas that are most relevant to Lawyerlink.

This section explains the main sustainability areas that are most relevant to Lawyerlink.

Our strongest alignment is with UN Sustainable Development Goal 16, which focuses on peace, justice and strong institutions. That is the area most closely connected to what we do every day. By helping SMEs access proactive, transparent, and affordable legal support, we aim to support better decision-making, stronger governance, and more resilient businesses.

We also see our work as supporting related sustainability goals, including:

  • Goal 5: Gender Equality, through a fair, inclusive, and non-discriminatory approach to work and representation;
  • Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, by supporting SMEs with the legal foundations they need to grow responsibly;
  • Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, through technology-enabled legal delivery and more modern service infrastructure; and
  • Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, through a digital-first approach that helps reduce paper use and unnecessary travel.

We focus on these areas because they are the ones where our business model can make a genuine and credible contribution.

This section explains how our sustainability approach is reflected in the way we work.

We aim to put this approach into practice by:

  • making legal support more accessible, transparent, and commercially workable for SMEs;
  • using technology to improve efficiency, consistency, and access to service information;
  • encouraging fair, inclusive, and supportive working practices within our own business;
  • helping clients build stronger internal policies, compliance practices, and workplace standards; and
  • operating on a digital-first and remote-first basis, reducing reliance on paper and unnecessary travel where reasonably possible.

We also believe sustainability includes how a business behaves. That means being clear in our communications, thoughtful in our service design, and responsible in the way we manage our operations and relationships.

This section explains how we review and develop our approach over time.

We recognise that sustainability is an ongoing responsibility, not a finished task.

We therefore aim to review our practices regularly and refine our approach as our business grows. This may include improving internal processes, reviewing the way we use technology and suppliers, strengthening inclusion and governance practices, and responding to feedback from clients, team members, and partners.

Our aim is to keep our approach practical, proportionate, and capable of improving over time.
